VULCANS
SALES: BENELUX
European craftsmanship in vulcanized footwear
Vulcans takes its name from vulcanization, the process of bonding natural rubber under heat and pressure. This is where function becomes identity: a sole that is durable, grippy and instantly recognizable, the foundation of every Vulcans silhouette. Established by Quinten van Leeuwen, deep in footwear culture since his teens, the brand is a celebration of high-quality vintage sportswear and the enduring craft of European vulcanized footwear. Honest in design and conscious in its choices.
Built to last, made with conscience
Every pair is handmade in a family run, solar powered factory in Europe, in small and controlled runs. No outsourcing, no mass production. Materials are sourced primarily within Europe and chosen for performance and responsibility alike: heavyweight cotton canvas, chrome and metal-free leathers, premium water repellent suede. Social responsibility is not an add on for Vulcans, it is built in. One percent of revenue goes to 1% for the Planet and B-Corp certification is in progress, not as a statement but as a standard to be held to for Vulcans.
